Most people in rural Zanzibar, Tanzania, depend on subsistence farming for their survival, but food can be in short supply and children are often malnourished. Furthermore, parents can rarely afford to send their children to school, orthey keep their children at home to work. This gift will provide schools meals for 35 nursery school children for one day, helping to enhance their development.

Mosquito net

It only takes one bite from an infected mosquito to contract malaria. Using mosquito nets can significantly reduce the risk of being bitten. Your gift could help the Anglican Church of Myanmar to deliver mosquito nets and life saving equipment to communities in remote areas, where there is a high risk of infection, but no hospitals or specialist doctors.

Meals for special needs children

The Dar-ul-Khushnud Special Needs Education Centre is unique in the Karachi area, of Pakistan, because it provides education and dedicated care for special needs children. Building up inter faith relationships has been important because the children come from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Fresh food is prepared each day, so the children receive a well-balanced diet.
